For the Coffee Lovers

This is a cake pop creation that my family simply craves! Using my favorite coffee, Starbucks, I concocted a super delicious and tempting coffee lover's cake pop. Introducing my Chocolate Mocha Almond Cake Pop. This is sure to be a favorite!

Photo Shoot with Cake Drops

One of the fun parts about making these Cake Drops is putting them in a photo shoot! It's fun trying to find the right spot in the house, the right plate, mug, room, outdoor spot, or whatever to make theses mini-desserts look like you want to eat some RIGHT NOW!

Featured are
Chocoholics (chocolate cake with dark cocoa coating and chocolate sprinkles)
Snowballs (white cake with white candy coating and sugary sprinkles)
Strawberry Thrill (strawberry cake with white coating and pink swirls)
Chocolate Covered Strawberry (strawberry cake with dark cocoa coating and red swirls)

Umm...did I say that they are all gone, too! They were all gobbled up before I could blog about them. Go figure! Every day is cake pop and cake drop day in my home!

Cake Pop Party Basket

Getting 100 Cake Pops ready for a milestone birthday party is all about the time management. I learned a lot from getting these scrumptious delights ready for a friend's party. Time management! I thought I had my prep going well. BUT, factor in tending to family and personal needs AND throw in a 6 month old baby and it's all about the time management.

I had a great time and thankfully, the Cake Pops were a hit! At one point when the cake pop basket was going around, the kids cheered in the background..."Cake pops, cake pops, cake pops!!" and it was angelic, orchestral music to my ears! Heavenly! Imagine that choir of angels "Aaahhhhh"-ing in the background, with my arms raised wide open. That kind of sound!

In the pic are Strawberry Thrill, Chocoholics, Red Velvet (both with white and dark chocolate coating), and Golden Gate Pops. I'm thinking of calling the Golden Yellow cake pops with dark cocoa coating and golden sprinkles "The Alchemist". Yummy! That has become a favorite with my kids.

Anyway, all in all, a great experience getting 100+ cake pops ready for a party!

Cake Pop Exploration

The above are just some of my creations in the last weeks...

Journey to Cake Pops

Greetings! In these past few weeks, I have fallen in love all over again. It's silly, I know. But the new craze of cake pops has my creative juices flowing, my family eating yummy treats daily, the kids adding a splash into their lunches at school (making all friends jealous), and friends sharing smiles that everyone should wear.

Cake pops have entered my life and I am loving it! Stay tuned for pictures and ventures of my creations! Hope you'll enjoy and share what you've done if you are a cake popper, too OR let me know what you think!

All in all, I like to keep things simple. My cake pops and cake drops will make you smile and crave a momentary treat! Thanks for stopping by!
