Carrot Cake Facelift
Just a quick share with my new look for Carrot Cake. It's basically an orange coating, vanilla flavored, covered in a sugar crystal and pearlized jimmies combo. Yes, the skinny sprinkles are called jimmies. Fun, eh? Carrot cake pops still seem to be one of the general favorites. As one friend said, carrot cake is not something you eat every day. So to get a nice couple bites of carrot cake heaven without having to use a plate and a spoon/fork is yummy!

Revisiting Past Creations
I've spent many hours over the past months, working on the craft of cake pops. Posted here are some pictures from my personal archives of the cake pops you haven't seen yet. The varieties are many. Some people like the crunch of the different sprinkle varieties, while some like the pretty swirl designs on the cake pops.
They all taste pretty good and I believe that with time and practice, they are only getting better. For the most part, I can create almost any cake flavor with a variety of color coatings, and with the sprinkle or design of your choice. Still fun! Still yummy!

Nutty for Cake Pops
For peanut butter lovers out there, here is my experiment with using Wilton's Peanut Butter flavored candy melts. It's not TOO peanut-buttery. It's just enough to give you the peanut butter kick. On these cake pops, I used chocolate cake for the inside. The nut covered cake pop reminded me of the popular Payday Bar. I'm nutty for all kinds of nuts. For those with nut allergies, of course stay away.

Special Occasion Cake Pops
I am finding more and more that people do not know what cake pops are. I hope to be one who helps spread the word about such yummy treats. I also hope that I may inspire aspiring cake poppers, one individual at a time. These are treats for any and all occasions. They can be displayed in a variety of ways.
Pictured here is a combination of a cake pop trio that I prepared for a graduation. Red Velvet Delight, Simply Vanilla, and Chocoholic cake pops. The cake drops were packaged together: one of each flavor in the small bag.
Pictured also is something similar to a gift for the staff in the local elementary school front office during Administrative Professionals Week. They loved the cake pops! I gifted a variety of cake pops that included 3 flavors, as pictured above. It was easy to put the cake pops together in the small basket. By placing a floral foam block inside the basket, then putting the cake pops in one at a time, the display looked delicious and inviting.
