For the Bride to Be: Turquoise is the Color

Thank you to a very kind woman who remembered me from about 2 years ago for making cake pops for her about-to-be-married daughter. Well, daughter number 2 is now preparing to walk down the aisle. So, these lovely cake pops were created for daughter #2!

The color scheme for these: Turquoise, Black and Cream. Wilton's makes a White and a Bright White candy melt so I had to get creative in trying to come close to a cream. It's fun to mix the Wilton's Candy Melt colors, but I also honestly didn't want to waste my candy melts! To the white vanilla flavored candy melts, I added a few milk chocolate pieces, along with a few yellow. It's hard to tell from the picture, but as I was mixing the melts did start to look a little cream/tan, so I stopped. Didn't want to mess up the batch!!

Nonetheless, I am pleased with the results. The turquoise jimmies were special ordered through Etsy. I had to pay a little extra for the turquoise, because it's hard to find. It's okay! Fun color!

This two dozen order are Red Velvet, a popular flavor! I used my Signature Swirl with Black Candy Melts. For the finishing touch, I used turquoise twisty ties for the Black Signature Swirl pops and a black twisty tie for the Turquoise sprinkled cake pops. Good luck forever more to the bride-to-be and enjoy your special treats!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something PINK

It is so nice to be in contact with a friend from over 25 years ago! Thanks to Facebook, things like that are possible. We were chatting via private messaging, and she was asking about Las Vegas local vendors she needed. I said..."Hmm...if you are interested in cake pops let me know!" And there ya go! I was so happy to do these for a friend of long ago!

She decided on Red Velvet and White Cake Pops. This was the first order I have ever done with the cake pops standing up. She didn't want them individually wrapped as she would be displaying them on a nice platter for a Bridal Shower celebration. The bright pink designates the Red Velvet and light pink are White Cake Pops. Now I just have to hide these from the kids because the White Cake Pops are super delish!

I love to create this Signature Swirl of mine. This is still the most fun I have decorating the cake pops- my signuture swirl! No two swirls are alike! Even during my busy times, cake popping is fun and therapeutic! Thanks for peeking in!
